The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 41(1) and 81(2) of the Transport (Scotland) Act 2001[1] and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf hereby make the following Regulations, a draft of which has, in accordance with section 81(4) of that Act, been laid before and approved by resolution of the Scottish Parliament: Citation and commencement 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Bus User Complaints Tribunal Regulations Revocation Regulations 2006 and shall come into force on the date on which the sub-committee is established in terms of article 10(1) of the Public Transport Users' Committee for Scotland Order 2006[2]. Interpretation 2. In these Regulations–
Revocation
(b) regulation 9 of the 2002 Regulations following an appeal under that regulation,
but which remains unpaid before the date on which these Regulations come into force. (This note is not part of the Regulations) These Regulations revoke the Bus User Complaints Tribunal Regulations 2002. The functions of the Bus User Complaints Tribunal have been conferred on the Public Transport Users' Committee for Scotland by virtue of the Public Transport Users' Committee for Scotland Order 2006.
