The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 40(3) of the London Olympic Games and Paralympic Games Act 2006[1], hereby make the following Order: Citation and extent 1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the London Olympic Games and Paralympic Games Act 2006 (Commencement) (Scotland) Order 2006. (2) This Order extends to Scotland only. Appointed day 2. 31st December 2006 is the appointed day for the coming into force of sections 19 to 31, and section 39(2) and (3) of the London Olympic Games and Paralympic Games Act 2006. PATRICIA FERGUSON A member of the Scottish Executive St Andrew's House, Edinburgh 10th December 2006 (This note is not part of the Order) This Order brings into force on 31st December 2006 sections 19 to 31 and section 39(2) and (3) of the London Olympic Games and Paralympic Games Act 2006. The provisions relate to the regulation of advertising, street trading and the sale of tickets in and around venues for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
